David and Marcy have been gifted and anointed to share Christ through their music, speaking, teaching, and marriage. They met in ministry in 1977. They have been faithful to one another and to this anointing since their marriage in 1978, serving the body of Christ together for all those years.
In 1985, David & Marcy founded Frontline Ministries, Inc. They did this in response to counsel given them by the elders of the church where they attended at that time.
Seeing the need for accountability in the itinerant ministry during those years, they had submitted their ministry to the counsel of their church elders. Their concert and speaking ministry was expanding. The church was growing. The elders could no longer manage both ministries, so the elders recommended that an advisory board be established. They prayed about who to invite to be on that first board. They invited people whose spiritual gifts matched the need of the ministry and one elder from the church for continuity of previous counsel.
The new advisory board saw the need to incorporate and thus Frontline Ministries became a non-profit 501(C)3 ministry. They also wanted to help others who needed to raise support for their ministries to have a place that people could give and be good stewards of their finances.
From those early years, David and Marcy have expanded and branched out into several minsitry venues. They have sung and shared their love of Christ from outdoor outreach concerts in parks to youth camps, conferences, church events, couples retreats, and full-blown renewal Weeks and weekends.
Though they have served in large conferences and churches--they have ministered with Charles Stanley, Gordon MacDonald, Terry Fullam, Dot Worth, Ruth Graham, Gene Getz, and Stephen Olford among others--yet, God seems to use them most in the small places. This may be a part of the commission David received in the laying on of hands when he was ordained. The word was: "Go to the hamlets and villages of America and share the Good News of My Son." Since that time, as they have obeyed that commission, fruit has followed. Over the years, God has expanded the assignment from the hamlets and villages of America to the hamlets and villages of Haiti, Brazil, UK, and the Republic of Georgia as well. They have reached out to the undiscipled Amish in PA, OH, and IA. Frontline is a growing affiliation of Evangelical ministries of outreach and discipleship sharing the Beautiful News and exanding the Kingdom of God.
